A dough bowl candle is an enchanting and rustic piece of home décor that combines traditional craftsmanship with the inviting warmth of candlelight. A dough bowl is a type of wooden bowl traditionally used for making and kneading dough. Our bowls are hand-carved from reclaimed wood and possess a rich history and bring a touch of farmhouse charm to any setting. As they are handmade, slight size discrepancies will occur, but each bowl will average 10" L x 6" W x 2" D.
The dough bowl serves as the container for the candle, replacing conventional glass jars or metal tins. Its natural wood grain, knots, and imperfections add character and ensure that no two candles are exactly alike. The bowls are carefully prepared and sealed to prevent the wax from seeping through and to ensure a safe burning experience.
Each dough bowl candle is hand-crafted individually upon order. Once the candle has been fully burned, the bowl can be cleaned and repurposed as a decorative piece. Fragrance and color can be requested upon order. I will reach out to you upon order to confirm your fragrance and color.

Our candles are Conscious Beauty Certified and formulated with clean industry standards. Our fragrance oils are Phthalate Free. That means they’re non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free. Our 8.5 oz candles are designed to burn for 50+ hours and our 13.5 oz candles are made to burn for 80+ hours when properly cared for. The combination of our high-quality raw materials, blend of soy and coconut wax, and our pure cotton wicks ensure that our candles will perform for an extended period of time.
On your first burn, allow the entire surface of wax to melt (2-3 hours). Limit each burn to a max of 4 hours and make sure your candle is lit in a safe place. Between burns, trim your candle wick to 1/4" before lighting. This will help reduce smoke, maximize burn time, and reduce mushrooming. For your safety, keep your wax free of debris. Never leave your candle unattended and do not place the lid on your candle when lit.
